چکیده
The trend in satellite remote sensing assignments has continuously been concerning using hardware devices with more flexibility, smaller size, and higher computational power. Therefore, field programmable gate arrays (FPGA) technology is often used by the developers of scientific community equipment for carrying out different algorithms. This article explains implementation land surface temperature split window (LST-SW) algorithm based on FPGA. To get a high-speed process real-time application, VHSIC description language (VHDL) was employed to design LST-SW algorithm. paper presents benefits Virtex-4QV radiation tolerant series experimental results revealed that suggested Virtex4QV achieved throughput 435.392 Mbps, faster processing time value 2.95 ms. Furthermore, comparison between proposed existing work demonstrated better performance terms area utilization; 1.17% reduction number Slice 1.06% LUTs. Moreover, significant advantage utilization would be none use block RAMs comparing three blocks RAMs. Finally, show improvements rates 2.28% frequency, 3.66 x throughput, 1.19% time.

متن کاملA generalized split-window algorithm for retrieving land-surface temperature from space
We propose a generalized split-window method for retrieving land-surface temperature (LST) from AVHRR and MODIS data. Accurate radiative transfer simulations show that the coefficients in the split-window algorithm for LST must vary with the viewing angle, if we are to achieve a LST accuracy of about 1 K for the whole scan swath range (1t5.5" from nadir) and for the ranges of surface temperatur...

Land surface temperature (LST) is one of the most important variables measured by satellite remote sensing. Public domain data are available from the newly operational Landsat-8 Thermal Infrared Sensor (TIRS). This paper presents an adjustment of the split window algorithm (SWA) for TIRS that uses atmospheric transmittance and land surface emissivity (LSE) as inputs. Various alternatives for es...
